Fees

The cost for an implant is divided into two parts:
1. The artificial tooth root = implant
2. The crown, bridge or implant based prostheses = suprastructure

The total cost for replacing a molar with sufficient bone availability is on average 2000 Euro.
The German Society for Implantology lists prices in Germany between 800 and 1500 Euro for the implant alone. Costs can vary depending upon the number of implants and extent of the bone reconstruction. The more implants that are placed in one session, the lower the cost for each individual implant.
Highly demanding frontal implants with reconstruction of the bone and soft tissue can increase the price significantly. These costs will not be reimbursed by socialized health care, however private health insurance covers for the most part a large portion of these costs.
